While this blog is designed to teach you a variety of digital marketing strategies for your business, every now and then, I love diving into a case study to share real-world results—giving you a blueprint to replicate and succeed.

In today’s post, I’m going to break down my experience with FlexOffers, showing you how I earned over $10,000 in affiliate commissions, and how you can also profit from FlexOffers.

There are plenty of ways to promote affiliate products, but I’ve found the most effective method is through valuable, educational content that helps your audience.

But here’s where this case study stands out: I didn’t use a traditional blog—like the one you’re reading now. I wanted something that was fast and easy to launch, without the need for months of setup.

If you're ready to create your own niche blog and take the leap, follow my step-by-step guide to get started.

When I kicked off this campaign, my goal was simple: test the affiliate product and see if there was any interest. The fastest way to do this, without a full-fledged blog, was to create a small, targeted post and drive traffic to it, just to see if it would convert into sales.

And guess what? I made six sales in the first 24 hours, eventually raking in over $10,000 in just a couple of months.

Now, I’m going to show you exactly how I did it.

What Is FlexOffers and How to Sign Up

FlexOffers is a powerful affiliate network that connects you with thousands of reputable, brand-name companies you can promote as an affiliate.

·        With over 12,000 affiliate programs and new ones added daily, FlexOffers gives you endless opportunities to monetize your content.

·        Some of the top brands available include Lord & Taylor, Skin Store, and InterContinental Hotel Group, giving you access to high-converting, well-known companies that your audience will love!

You’ll notice that the brands I just mentioned are in the fashion, beauty, and hotel niches. This means FlexOffers offers a wide range of programs to suit almost every niche imaginable.

To sign up with FlexOffers, you’ll need your own website to get started. While I’m not certain how they select their affiliates or if they expect your site to have sufficient content, here’s what FlexOffers has to say:

From the above, it seems that even if your website has limited content, as long as you clearly explain how you plan to promote their products and provide detailed information about your traffic sources, you’ll have a strong chance of being accepted into their platform.

Make sure to take note of this and put in the time and effort when applying.

Ready to get started? Click here to begin the application process. Once on their site, simply click Publisher Sign Up to join.

Next, follow the steps to complete your application.

There’s no secret formula to getting accepted and making money with FlexOffers, but here are a few key tips you should know:

  • Provide truthful, honest information throughout your application.
  • FlexOffers is looking for affiliates who know exactly how they’ll promote products. So, have a plan and be as detailed as possible when outlining it to boost your chances of approval.
  • Ensure all your information is accurate. Made a mistake? No problem—just reach out to them after submission to correct it.
  • Read their terms and conditions carefully to ensure you can comply and avoid any violations that could result in account termination.
  • Joining FlexOffers is completely free.

What Are the Best Products to Promote With FlexOffers

·        In my opinion, the best products to promote are cost per lead offers.

·        Cost per lead means you’ll earn a commission when your traffic opts into the advertiser’s form by providing their name, contact details, and any other required information.

·        This is powerful because your audience doesn’t need to make a purchase for you to earn a commission.

·        I’ve found that cost per lead programs are one of the easiest ways to make money with affiliate networks. All the lead needs to do is enter their information—a much simpler, no-obligation task compared to making a purchase.

·        To find these offers, once inside the FlexOffers Publisher area, click on Advertisers, then Search Advertisers.

Scroll down to Payout Type, check the Cost Per Lead box, and hit Search.

This will display all the affiliate programs that pay on a cost per lead basis.

If you want to filter the search results based on your niche, simply enter keywords or select categories to help you narrow down the options.

How To Promote Affiliate Products Through a Blog Post

You could simply link directly to the affiliate program, but the most effective way to make money with FlexOffers—or any affiliate product—is through valuable content.

Valuable content lets you educate and inform your audience, showing them why they should take a specific action. People are far more likely to take action when they understand not only the benefits but also the potential consequences of doing nothing.

This content can be part of a sales funnel: you capture leads on a landing page, guide them through a bridge page where you provide value, and then direct them to the affiliate product.

However, with cost per lead programs, it can be tricky if you ask for lead information twice—once on your landing page and again on the advertiser’s form.

What’s worked incredibly well for me is writing an educational blog post that subtly recommends the affiliate program—like the one you’re reading right now.

When your audience clicks your links, they’re taken directly to the affiliate program, where they only have to enter their details once.

No matter how you choose to promote the program, I strongly recommend using your own landing page first. This approach allows you to:

  • Capture your audience's information with a lead capture page, helping you build an email list for follow-ups and remarketing.
  • Add retargeting pixels to your landing page, so you can retarget and remarket to visitors who don’t convert right away.

How To Get Traffic To The Affiliate Program

There are numerous ways to drive traffic to your promotional content: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and search engines are all powerful options.

For my blog posts, I rely on Facebook Ads and Bing Ads. But before you invest in promoting an affiliate program, make sure you know the earnings per click (EPC) to ensure your efforts are profitable.

Earnings per click is a crucial metric provided by affiliate programs that gives you a clear estimate of the potential earnings for every 100 clicks you drive to the affiliate offer.

This metric is calculated based on the average earnings generated by affiliates over a specified period.

FlexOffers tracks this over 7, 30, and 90 days, giving you a comprehensive view of your performance.

Understanding your earnings per click (EPC) is essential to running profitable ad campaigns. You want to ensure that your cost per click remains below the EPC, so you're making money, not losing it.

For instance, if you launch an ad campaign on Facebook and direct people to your landing page, pay close attention to the amount you're spending per visitor.

This is monitored through the cost per link click metric (or cost per landing page view) on Facebook.

As long as the advertising platform's cost per click is below the EPC of the affiliate program, your campaigns can stay profitable—provided you're getting conversions.

How I Earned Over $10k in Affiliate Commissions from FlexOffers in 2 Months

When I first started with FlexOffers, I selected an affiliate program that paid on a cost per lead basis. That program was the Credit Sesame offer.

I then wrote a compelling blog post about Credit Sesame, highlighting its features, benefits, why I used it, and why I highly recommend it.

I used Facebook ads to drive traffic to my blog post, targeting individuals who would likely be interested in a tool to improve their credit score.

My cost per click stayed under $0.25, dropping as low as $0.17.

To keep my cost per click low, I focused on crafting ad text that was personal and relatable. This approach ensured my ad not only caught attention but also encouraged engagement, driving down costs.

I started with a $5 daily budget per ad to test different interests and identify what resonated. I tested eight different interests initially, and once I saw my first conversions, I analyzed which interests were driving those results.

I quickly turned off the underperforming interests.

The campaign ran for about three months and delivered a final return on investment of x2.7.

In the end, I earned $10,266 in affiliate commissions.

Other Features of FlexOffers

There are several things I absolutely love about FlexOffers:

  • Dedicated affiliate manager. Having an affiliate manager is a game-changer. They help me find the best affiliate offers and are my go-to person for negotiating higher commissions.
  • Ease of access. FlexOffers offers online chat support, and you can easily reach their office via email or telephone if you have any questions. I've always been able to speak with someone, though I did have to follow up with their Accounts department once after waiting seven days for a response.
  • Reliable payment. While I’m not a huge fan of their Net30 payment terms or the “pay when they get paid” model, they are reliable. I started with FlexOffers in January and received my February commissions in early April. This is fairly standard across affiliate networks. Some offer Net30 terms, while others pay on Net7 terms. FlexOffers does offer Net7 payments, but you need to send quality traffic for two months and earn at least $5,000 in affiliate commissions each month to qualify.
  • Ease of payment. You can receive your affiliate commissions via PayPal, or if you're in the US, you can opt for cheque or direct deposit.
  • FlexRev-$hare. FlexOffers has a referral program where you can earn a percentage of the affiliate sales made by publishers you refer and who are approved.

Wrapping Up

Anyone can make money with FlexOffers if they want to. They are a trusted affiliate network with thousands of affiliate programs available for promotion.

It’s a great revenue stream for bloggers and marketers looking to promote high-quality brands on their blogs or websites.
